Our Story

The foundation of Larissa Kay Designs was built on a passion for visual communication that began early in life. My interest in graphic design was first sparked in high school during a commercial art class, where a supportive and unconventional teacher encouraged me to pursue creativity with purpose.
That early spark led me to earn degrees in Business Administration/Marketing, Mass Communications, and Communication Arts, along with a minor in Commercial Art. In 2008, I launched Larissa Kay Designs as a creative outlet outside of my full-time role. Over the years, it has evolved into a full-service design studio focused on helping brands communicate effectively and professionally. Continuous learning and adaptation remain core values of my work—and are part of what I find most fulfilling about this field.

About the Founder

I'm Larissa Stalcup, founder and lead designer of Larissa Kay Designs. I’m based in Gillette, Wyoming, where I live with my husband Tyler, our sons Turner and Tucker, and our dog Rainbow.
With over 15 years of experience in design and communications, I bring a strategic and detail-oriented approach to every project—backed by a solid foundation in both business and creative disciplines.
